ClientX Developer Docs

ClientX is a resource-decoupled frontend application framework: a small core plus pluggable resources. This documentation covers installing core, developing resources, packaging compositions and assembling applications.

Quick start

Get ClientX running in minutes: core source, your first resource, build and preview.

Install

What ClientX is, its architecture, two ways to install core, and clientx create.

Develop

Resource structure, the declare/activate lifecycle, dependencies and i18n.

Package

The clientx build pipeline, dist/ layout, and single-resource vs composed builds.

Assemble

How core loads resources from manifest.json, clientx run, and one React instance.

Case study

The hello example: generated source, build, and assembly into an app.

Downloads

The artifacts referenced by the install and package guides (clientx-core-source.tar.gz, clientx-core-prebuild.tar.gz, resource-<id>-source.tar.gz and resource-hello-example.tar.gz) are served by the ClientX website at /downloads/ with stable, non-hashed file names.

The documentation site is an independent Astro static resource built into /docs/; it only contains public documentation and does not include the downloadable artifacts.
